I tried several pair, and was looking for a comfortable pair that would allow my foot to have a little breathing room for my toes. Usually, this type of cycling shoe really squeezes you hard; and I am more of a "casual" cyclist. I use these indoors on a Zwift frame with clipless toe pedals. They clip in easily and are comfrtable to ride in for my 15-45 min rides. The bottoms are flush, so no awkward walking - the clip portion is pushed into the sole. Love these!
